Made from a real crocodile claw preserved by master Australian taxidermist Max Barrington - with over 20 years experience he is considered one of the best! Taxidermy keeps the scales on and preserves the natural colour of the crocodile, this backscratcher is not just a novelty but really gets at those hard to reach itches!

This product has been made using a by-product of the crocodile farming industry. These products are normally disposed of by the farming companies, but here at Croc Stock and Barra we believe in environmental sustainability and minimising crocodile wastage and so we put to use these discarded parts to create all sorts of weird and wonderful things!

SHIPPING
We offer free shipping Australia-wide on all orders over $100AUD. Your order will be packaged appropriately and shipped with Australia Post within 48 hours of payment of your order. If you place your order over the weekend, please allow additional time.
PRODUCT TAGS
Australian Saltwater Crocodiles are a protected species and as such the sale of their products is a regulated industry. Croc Stock and Barra supply an individually numbered 'NT Parks & Wildlife Commission Product Identification Tag' with all crocodile products purchased at no extra cost. This is all that is required when traveling within Australia with products purchased for non-commercial use.
*Please note some products do not qualify for free shipping. These include skulls, crocodile skins and taxidermy crocodiles. You must contact us directly to purchase these products at which time we will discuss your domestic shipping options with you. We are able to organise a courier and insurance for these items.
INTERNATIONAL
SHIPPING
We offer flat rate international postage for $25AUD. Your order will be packaged appropriately and shipped with Australia Post within 48 hours of payment your order. If you place your order over the weekend, please allow additional time.
*Please note some products do not qualify for flat rate international shipping. These include skulls, crocodile skins and taxidermy crocodiles. You must contact us directly to purchase these products at which time we will discuss your international shipping options with you.
EXPORT PERMITS
If you are shipping your product to an address in Australia but subsequently leaving the country you are permitted to have up to 4 items per person with the Product Tags that we supply with each purchase. For added assurance you are able to purchase an CITES Personal Baggage Permit for an additional cost of $5 AUD. These permits are only to be used when the items are being transported as part of your personal luggage and are valid for 6 months from date of issue.
For items being posted to an international address, a CITES Export Permit is available for $30 AUD and is mandatory for all Crocodile products being posted internationally. For purchases over $400 AUD, we will supply an CITES Export Permit free of charge.
Please allow an additional 7 days for customs clearance to be lodged and approved prior to postage of your crocodile products. For further information on CITES and import/exporting regulations, please visit the: Australian Government – Department of Environment.
*The above information relates to the exportation of crocodile products from Australia. All countries have different restrictions on the import of crocodile products into their country. It is the responsibility of the buyer to make contact with local authorities as to the importing requirements for that country. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to ensure all documentation for the import of the purchased products for the destination country are in place prior to postage of goods. Croc Stock and Barra assume no responsibility for seizure of goods due to insufficient import documentation for the destination company.
IMPORTANT NOTE FOR SHIPMENTS TO U.S.A
The United States of America requires that shipments with CITES documents must be validated by the Australian Customs and Border Protection Service prior to export. Some invalidated shipments have been seized and forfeited in the US.
It is important that all shipments to the US have the appropriate CITES and documentation prior to postage. As detailed in the Export Permits – International Section above, Croc Stock and Barra can organise all this documentation for a small fee of $30.
